Product Specs

The Bottle Rocket 110 is a durable, eco-friendly topwater lure designed for long casts and fast retrieves, perfect for mimicking fleeing baitfish and enticing aggressive strikes.

Weight

The lure body is 25g (unrigged) and weighted with tungsten carbide which gives it great casting distance and also means you don't have to worry about the toxicity of lead.

Construction

The 110mm long body is made from solid 100% recycled HDPE plastic which means you can drag it up the rocks all day. To give you piece of mind the 1.6mm 316 stainless steel thru-plate means you will stay connected to your fish of a lifetime no matter what.

Easy Action

The Bottle Rocket 110 is designed to be retrieved at speed and skipped across the surface to mimic a fleeing baitfish.

Recommended Rigging

The Bottle Rocket 110 can handle a variety of hooks such 2/0-4/0 size singles and the 1/0-2/0 sized trebles. Avoid tying your leader directly to the front tow point—instead, use a split ring with a solid ring, swivel, or loop knot for smoother, more responsive action and reducing the risk of knot failure.

Bottle Rocket 110

Excellent casting lure for the surf or off the rocks. Cast out, let sink, put the rod tip down and slow wind back for a good side to side swimming action. Or cast out, start winding faster with the rod tip up and you get a slipping pencil lure mimicking a fleeing baitfish! Or do any combination of these to mix it up! Large dart, tailor, tuna, mackerel, any fish that will chase a baitfish! Is there anything you can’t catch on a bottle rocket?

One of the best casting lures ever used

First time using the Bottlerock 110 and I was super impressed with the casting distance. Combined with the light PE 0.6 setup I was able to get the lure into the zone and not have to worry about being close to the bust ups. Winding the lure at a steady pace so it would skim the surface to imitate fleeting baitfish. By skimming the surface they don’t get a chance to inspect the lure properly so the hookup rate has substantially increased compared to other lures. The profile of the lure casts extremely well, just remember to close the bail arm or palm the spool before it lands to prevent the line tangling with the hook.

I had no issues catching fussy salmon and tailor with this lure and was even able to vertical jig a tailor.

These things cast unbelievably well for their size and tuna absolutely love them. I’ve caught well over 20 fish on mine and it still consistently produces fish. Great bang for buck, 100% would recommend these lures.

110 bottlerocket is a firecracker!

These lures cast a mile on light tackle and are nearly indestructible. I doubt that you would ever have to retire one of these lures due to damage, it's much more likely that a fish will claim it instead.

Perfect

The 110 size is perfect for everything. Buy more than one as the fish froth this long casting topwater lure. From Tuna bust ups to big queenie chases, the fish don't hesitate to slam it! My personal favourite colours are dirty ice and garfish. I've had some of my biggest queenfish on this lure, and have no doubt I'll get some GT when they are on the bite too. Not only do the fish froth it, but you can cast it for miles, meaning you can reach those hard to reach bust ups when landbased fishing.
